The devs cant keep up to the chat system, we both know thats true. But thats just a what if situation, clearly not the best one but one that you can clearly understand why someone would not want to be associated to their old name.
There is no "catching them" if the harassment is so bad you need a server transfer Im sure the person would put in a CS ticket and then the GMs can scan their chat and see if the harasment took place. They dont have to monitor or watch every little thing that is said. Its all stored, on file permanently with time stamps and everythings. I tell the gm, Hey about an hour ago this one dude sent me a bunch of racist homophobic hate filled text. GM looks at his chat record, sees the text and bam....Perma ban. Easy Squeezy lemon squeezy
