To second Kalok, playing is a timesink, all you're doing in a game is a timesink for the sake of feeling an accomplishment. Would it be long, tedious, hard or requiring some extended logistic/grind/numbers.
Everything of value in a game, is a timesink gated by something that we do not allways want to do. Coldain ring/shawl was a chore for some (tradeskill and drop grind) and a pleasure for others, as is camping named, farming plats, or raiding.
A personal taste subject, over making something valuable.
