I want to know if Pantheon is going to have some sort of theme song.
Today I was browsing through the Guild Wars 2 Reddit and found a song they created for their most recent patch which included a creepy rendition of their original theme from when the game launched. I always thought "Fear Not this Night" was a GREAT theme for the story of Guild Wars 2 and felt connected to it immensely, but the new creepy version got me thinking about possible theme songs and music that other games used, and potentially what Pantheon could use in the future.
Just going to share a few other games theme songs here so people who haven't played or heard can get an idea of what I mean.

So the question is - will Pantheon have its own "Theme" music? I hope so!
I am sure Pantheon will have opening Music. I wonder what Brad will come up with this time.
EverQuest song is my favorite because it was my all time favorite game.
That Fear Not this Night is great from GW2, Mezmer was the funnest class ever.
Wildstar is another favorite ( I really like that game: wish it had become more popular) i still play it sometimes. I love the Medic class, very unique, stupid fun.
Wonder if Brad still owns the rights to the collision coarse music from Vanguard. I would use ALL of that just for cost cutting ( paying someone for new music )

You can find some sounds that have been made for the game here. https://soundcloud.com/pantheon-rotf
Not able to download but on my ROKU I was able to find an App called MisiClouds and that access soundcloud where I was able to find them by searching tracks for "pantheonmmo" (just pantheon returned nothing) and the Name of the first Track is
Terminus
Not saying that WOULD be the theme but...

Is there a location we can download the files so we can play them - I want to make a playlist for while driving.
Try this app from Media Human: http://goo.gl/ft6tFh it supports soundcloud. Just copy and paste the URL for the page and it will download all the music found on the page each into it's own file.

However, for Pantheon, we may have a title screen with the intensity of something like this https://soundcloud.com/pantheon-rotf/protf-kingdoms-of-the-sand#t=2:07 .
I'm just hoping it's not https://soundcloud.com/pantheon-rotf/protf-terminus to be honest.
Joppa has made a few sound tracks for Pantheon, they are listed on Sound Cloud. I think they are wonderful and appropriate. https://soundcloud.com/chrisperkinsmusic (that's Chris Perkins btw)

Isn't this the main theme?
I wouldn't want this as the main theme song, only because it is actually reminiscent of Firefly/Serenity to me and wouldn't bring thoughts/feelings of Pantheon at all. It is a fantastic song though.
Something I noticed is the title song shouldn't be overpowering if the character select music is soft.
This is the character select music https://soundcloud.com/pantheon-rotf/pantheon-rise-of-the-fallen-mystery-awakens
With that, the title would have to be something like in the first 40 seconds of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owa6LDEIQtU
or
https://youtu.be/-LGg2Z8B91w?t=128 as a concept and have character selection something about on pace with it like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIXUv3CREj8 . Character select should if anything have short successions of violins (spiccato) to give that transition, 'on the move' feel.
A bit of an aside on that note, the merchant/vendor music. They really should make an updated version of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0GeCxeqf3M . I say that only because it's the one song that seems to reflect the inceptiion of the MMO era so well.
Didn't even know about the Pantheon soundcloud - this music is WONDERFUL!
Pretty sure this is the theme https://soundcloud.com/pantheon-rotf/protf-terminus

It is, but that could change which I guess was part of the reason for the theorycrafting.
Music and sound are pretty darn important in these types of games. I hope a lot of thought and effort are going into this part of Pantheon's development.
For me, my favorite MMO music is Final Fantasy XIV, particularily many tracks from the Heavensward expansion. I also really like Everquest II's main theme. For Vanguard, I would say Rindol Field way my favorite.
Now this is just my opinion only, but I've listened to the Pantheon tracks on SoundCloud and none of them, as of yet, really strike me.

Joppa (Chris Perkins) is a very hardworking and dedicated person. For awhile there he was wearing many hats, until we finally got a Community Manager (Kilsin) to take some of the load off. I've listened to the music he has posted on Sound Cloud, and to me ...he has the right idea. :)

Isn't this the main theme?
If I were to take a guess I would suppose that this is music designed to be played alongside a trailer or opening cinematic highlighting the races. The music starts in high spirits, light and flighty which would be a good theme to pair with halflings, humands, and possibly gnomes. We then move into a more industrious plodding sound with a solid beat which would fit the more industrious dwarves and the driven ogres. The music then quickly turns dark and somber which would fit more with elves and dark myr before abruptly turning sinister and fitting the skar. The next bit has a more high spirited and almost mysterious sound again fitting in with gnomes and perhaps halflings. The final half minute or so of the theme is a very unified sound with elements from all of the other sections of the theme, fitting a group shot or title card.
