I actually want to have deep bonds with folks too. That's why I'd want something like linkshells. It's like the difference between Guildmates and RL friends in game. I want to be able to stay close to and in contact with the RL friends fairly constantly. And this is the kind of thing a Linkshell is good for. I know some people would say just join your friends guild. But what if I want to Raid and they dont. I still will party and do activities with them pretty often. But I would also be doing that plus raiding with my guild.
