I am a Fantasy Author. Sword and Magic, so to speak.

It is a very rewarding (personal at least) job to have. One day money might follow *shrug* not that important really, as I sooo enjoy what I do.

Yea, the old adage about starving/struggling artist does apply. :)

    Oh, and I game a lot! ;)

This youtube video gives you a glimps, It is not my video, just one that i found that could give you some idea of what it is like. As you can see from my Control room it is much better than the one in the video.

The below photo is myself with the ROV which has 2 manipulators on the front, 8 Thrusters and many more sensors. This photo shows one of the manipulators with a 20 Inch Super Grinder with a cutting disc for slicing and dicing.

I originally went to school to teach German and be a tennis coach. Somehow I ended up being a machinist and have worked in the same "dungeon" for the past 20 years LOL. Waiting for my wife to finish her advanced degree so that I can pursue my life long dream of being "una ama de casa" (house wife).

Sorry to here about the knee Kilsin, good news is you're in Australia. I had the same opportunity ( ACL replacement ) once, but here in the land of work or starve all I could when the doctor explain the procedure is laugh, say f- that and walk out.

I'm an accountant.  Kind of boring actually, especially compared to some of the cool jobs you guys have.  But, it pays the bills and keeps the kiddos fed.  No complaints:)

Locksmith/safetech. About 50% is auto/house lockouts. The rest is split between installing locks/rekeying. And then there is manipulating/drilling safes for everyone from McDonalds to the military. And every great once in a while we install vault doors for banks. Ever repaird a vault door at a casino with 3 armed guards watching you to make sure you dont pick up a 100k tip on the way out? Fun times!

I can honestly say no, I have not.  But I do cross the US/Canadian border often so I think I can relate, HA!  Guilty until proven innocent right?

I have had a few similar experiences, but I have either been one of the armed men staring at you or fixing an ATM or Bank machine with a partner and no supervision lol :P

Oh, staff not allowed, damnit! ;)

Well now that you came here what did you do before that?

I have actually been in the Security/Risk Management Industry for around 16 years, the last 5-7 more executive roles but I re-injured my knee and require another knee reconstruction, so I took a year off to study and further my qualifications while I prepare for that, so I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment and for the next 3-6 months while I wait for the operation and then rehabilitate, so I can spend a lot of extra time on Pantheon which is really good.

I have a lot of experience in Team Management, Communication, Risk Management and training in Crisis Management, Hostile Situations/Negotiations and some small arms weapons/tactical training but my specialised field is High Level Risk Management in a Corporate/Executive environment.

Nothing too special but it pays the bills :)

    Wow, now I'm worried.

I recently left the EMS world where I was an EMT/EMD for the past decade to work as the V.P. at our family business. I also used to write, edit and manage communities for a commercial gaming website. Googling Medawky will probably tip you off as to which one it was, but I am not going to plug them here.

Lol, definitely nothing to be worried about my friend! I'm the friendliest guy ever :)

Much respect for the EMS/EMT/EMD work, I have a lot of family members in Emergency/Nursing positions. My mum is a CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) specialising in Anaesthetics, so I get to hear all of the crazy gory emergency and operating room stories which is pretty cool :)

I work for the swedish version of the migration agency. Decision-making on a pretty high level regarding children (especially girls) who come to our nation without any family or relatives and sometimes are pregnant/have small children on their own.

Needless to say, it's a rough job but there's a lot of character and room to grow as an individual. I like doing it, at least for now :).
