Q: What is your main character's in-game name and how did you come up with it?

A: Way back when I was playing EQ, to try and get my wife and sister to play the game, I created a female wood elf druid character named Dandalion. Sadly the ploy didn't work, but I did fall in love with the character, and she soon became my main. When she hit 20, I gave her the surname Deeproots. During the whole time playing EQ, I role-played Dandalion, keeping my gender a secret. When EQ2 came out, I decided to give it a try. I really wanted to create another Dandalion, but I knew it would never be the same, so I decided to create a male Wood Elf Druid named Thorn. Of course, the name Thorn had already been taken, so to honor Dandalion, I appended the Deep to his name, and thus Thorndeep was born.

Q: What interests you the most about Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen?

A: The chance to adventure in an immersive world and create my own story accompanied by a great group of friends.

Q: What will your main race and class be and why?

A: I'll probably start with a Halfling Druid as it is the closest I can get to Dandalion. However, I have a feeling I won't stick with it as the Bard, Summoner, and Monk classes all hold interest.

Q: What is your favourite system, mechanic, or feature so far in Pantheon?

A: Climbing, especially after seeing animations revealed during CohhCarnage's most recent Pantheon steam. As I am notoriously bad at jumping and climbing mechanics, I am sure I will rue the day I've said this as my character plunges to his death.

Q: If you could enter the game and visit anywhere in Terminus for 1 hour, where would you go and why?

A: It would be the Dark Myr starting city. Dark Myr because I love the idea of a city partly (or fully?) in water. And because my daughter likes the Dark Myr race. I don't want any big spoilers, so that is why I would choose a starting city.

Q: Finally, if you had to choose between being kept as an Ogre's servant, cooking and serving their meals or being trapped inside the mind of a single tree, what would you choose and why?

A: This is a very easy question for me. My all-time favorite spell in EverQuest was Tree Form. I spent hours hunting dervishes in West Commons and giants in Warsliks Woods using Tree Form. Being trapped inside the mind of a single tree hands (I mean branches) down.
