Most people care more about classes and zones and pretty pictures. I like those too, but I look first for information about how development and/or funding is going on the not unreasonable theory that nothing else matters in the slightest until release or alpha or beta (depending on pledge level) for those of us not actually in the pre-alpha. So when I see a mention of where we are, not an entirely common event, I like to show appreciation.
