    Thanks for the positivity, folks. It helps. 

    Last sunday was two months. Getting easier to go without the nicotine gum - find myself really only chewing it during DnD sessions on Saturday evenings (god I'm such a nerd) - and only because there's usually a whole lot of alcohol involved.

    Pft. Tabletop gaming is good for the brain. Keeps your math skills and your imagination active.

    Keep up the good work. Addiction is a PITA, no matter what the "substance." Me, I'm addicted to caffine, fantasy media and my husband. Pretty manageable ones, comparitively.  :)

    When I quit successfully the first time (I say successfully because the family was going on a trip overseas, Mom was freaking out, and the stress of having to deal with her sent me to the store after too much of it.) I used a rubber band on my wrist and caused myself pain every time I wanted a cigarette. I also drank a lot of water.

    You can do it, mate. Free yourself from control of big tobacco! Your life will be yours once more!
