Normally I would agree however given the length the project has been around and the fact that there is no more SWG game to be played and therefore the emulator is not competing for money with an active game I'm not sure how this is looked upon.
I know Disney owns everything Star Wars (and it's likeness) related but some people have mentioned abandonware applies in this instance. Not sure if that's right or wrong, just mentioning a few things I've heard.
That game and the aspects it has sure are fun though.
