Being a backer of EQ Next before it was ripped to shreds and thrown to the wolves, I am wondering if you, VR, have considering their terrific model of crowd sourcing the workload. Considering you are programming in Unity, which is compatitible with most major modelling softwares, you could hold a character, flora, effects, etc. competition that people could show off their artistic skill using blender or whatever other programs they prefer and submit them as a Unity Friendly file that you could use in-game. With the absolute fanaticism there is for a new brand of MMORPG it doesn't astound me at the vast number of people willing to 'give away' their time and talents to help produce something that know they will love. I truly admire their marketing scheme they used with presenting the users the sandbox toolkit to build the world, making them pay for it, then having them work to build the world of EQ Next for free. :) GENIUS!.. However, you have a one up, you are using a platform that is already developed AND is free to everyone!
