So after watching that stream it got me excited about what Pantheon could turn out to be but also waxing nostalgic about EQ and all the good times that were had. If you are like me you may still have some screenshots or something to share about the good ol' days in EQ. I lost a bunch of what I had but still have some.

I really love reading the snippets of guild chat captured at various moments..especially after first time kills. Serious satisfaction and a rare sense of accomplishment I didn't find in many other games since. Good times. Anyone else have any nostalgic screenies or stories to share from EQ?
In addition to performing GM duties I was also in charge of updating the website so I took a lot of screenshots. Back then it was pretty standard for guilds to actually have an active website and post updates of progression because it was a big deal. I'm sure some of the top guilds in WoW and other games still do it but it seems now it's hard to even get people to visit a forum let alone website.
That is actually another thing I miss. We had over 100 active members in the guild and a good number were active on the forums. Very much added to the community atmosphere of the guild/game. Rare these days in my experience. I actually have our old site preserved from when we defeated the end boss of Planes of Power expansion. It was a huge accomplishment for us and I think many considered that sort of the end of EQ..even though it obviously continued on. The expansions got sort of bizarre after that and it was sort of hard to top slaying the Gods of the EQ lore.
