I have heard the podcast on the new website but outside of that, there is nowhere near the amount of Pantheon updates or reviews like 2014 had. Just curious if Pantheon has taken a new stance on remaining a little more secretive as the true progression is taking place? Like many players excited to be a part of the development phases leading to Alpha, we love to know as much detail as possible.
It is quite apparent though when you do searches on the internet that 2014 is FULL of stuff where 2015 is VERY limited.
This year we focussed on much bigger and deeper structures, mechanics and systems which are slow going but very important, so there wasn't much to show while we worked hard on it and taking the team away from that to speak to the media wouldn't of done us any favours, as we can't speak about these things until they are finished anyway so it would have slowed us down.
Making games like Pantheon isn't a fast process and starting from scratch like we did and then overhauling everything 6-12 months after we started is a massive undertaking, especially for a small team but I think you will all be as pleased with the results as we are when we are able to finally release more. :)
A bunch of us are certainly searching and have never been as non-committed to games ever. Maybe it is Twitch, which tantalizes us with different game experiences on the fly? Anyhow, I am not a person that can game hop, I am not capable of jumping around to multiple games. I tend to get into one game and do it intensely and thoroughly. EQ Next had my interest for a bit until ut seemed to tank. Cartoon (Disney) themes are not really my style anyway. So now it is Patheon, recently striking all of my interest and support. I think a lot of us have a bit of doubt that ANY game can live up to the old time experiences. Patheon, you are our only hope!

And more coming soon... we have a solid PR plan and are engaging the media now and being much proactive since the website relaunch. Also, as you can see from the most recent interview with Massively, we are not shying away from the tough questions.
Likewise we are posting here and elsewhere more frequently, and recently released our first newsletter (second issue coming soon):

I think it's safe to say you'll continue to see things ramp up a bit, but then again, not too far because we're still some time from beta and release (2017), so it doesn't make sense to go too crazy on the hypequest this early on either.
