If I'm correct, the current pledge amounts are based on USD. Sadly, for some of us not in the US, like myself in AU, the conversion rate is horrendous.
I can't recall it being discussed in the past, but I was wondering if VR would consider opening the pledge to be more... friendly for other regions. For example, if I was to up my pledge to VIP, the cost of USD $500 is closer to AUD $780.
Maybe such an approach would encourage others to pledge and/or increase their pledge.

As a US based company, we set our pledge prices based on US pricing. We understand that can mean fluctuations on actual costs for other countries.
That being said, we are looking at different pricing options for different regions once the game releases. It all depends on how payments are made and processed. However, our financial modeling is all based on US currency so there probably isn't much room to make concessions to other currencies and still keep at the targeted financial goals and structure.
