Necro/pally could be a combo if they followed the same religion. But that brings up a good question will players be able to follow a religion? Say like a pally following a evil god's religion
Why can't a necro and pally be friends....peanut butter and jelly...salt and pepper... life and death.... some of my best friends are way different than I am... plus in fantasy some of my best groups were not the norm....
Undead has become such a slanted, biased ....nasty term. It hurts their feelings. Perhaps Panthon can use less loaded terms like livingly challenged or even (old Pool of Radience reference) formerly living entities.
