what type of personality prefers to play what kind of class?

    Nice overall paper, gets into game design *ahem*, relationships as well as the benefit of people starting at the same level.

    Side note, the appeal of MMO's is essentially everyone in an MMO can accomplish the greatest goal possible in game- which is not always the case in real life but possible in MMOs which makes them desireable. Bad design is various rarities or timers as this takes away from the above and only forces anti-social or personaly detrimental behavior (poop-socking/bat-phoning) creating a situation where you are forced to play rather than wanting to play.
